n the foaming industry, EVA granules with VA content of 12%-16% are ideal raw materials for producing foam products. After foaming, they have the characteristics of light weight, good elasticity, shock absorption, and heat insulation, widely used in shoe materials (such as sports shoe midsoles), automotive interior parts (seat cushions, foot pads), and packaging shockproof materials. In the wire and cable field, EVA with VA content of 9%-18% is used to produce insulation layers and sheaths, which has excellent electrical insulation performance, aging resistance, and low temperature flexibility, ensuring the safe operation of cables in harsh environments.
EVA is also an important raw material for hot melt adhesives. The hot melt adhesive made of EVA with low to medium MFR and high VA content has high cohesive strength and flexibility, non-toxic and solvent-free, widely used in book binding, household appliance assembly, automobile manufacturing, and furniture industry. In the agricultural field, EVA film with VA content of 10%-20% has good transparency, thermal insulation, and weather resistance, which is used to make greenhouse films and mulch films, effectively improving crop yield and quality.
